Butterflies in the stomach - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Butterflies in the stomach is a medical condition characterized by the physical sensation of a "fluttery" (hence butterflies) feeling in the stomach. Some believe that this is caused by the release of epinephrine, or adrenaline, when one is nervous, pulling blood away from the stomach and sending it to the muscles. Butterflies in the stomach is most often experienced prior to important events, when stress is induced, but can be experienced in situations of impending danger.

The phrase 'Butterflies in the stomach' is an example of an idiom.

Gee, that was a quick next post. I thought it wasn't coming until Thursday? *Sits on his high horse*

Don't worry though, I know exactly what you talking about especially in the context of calling people. Strange, I get fluttery even when i'm calling Gabby or Kate and even Brooklyn while we were going out!

Maybe it's some deep-down fear we have Neb? Maybe in WC3 there's some subliminal message that plays over and over in the background "CALLING MEMBERS OF THE OPPOSITE SEX = AWKWARD!"

You know what I don't get? When they have the word verification thingy and then it says "If you are disabled or otherwise cannot read this, please message the Administrator" but wtf, as if you can read that if you can't read a bunch of squiggly-ish letters!
