Zany Happenings

I'd like to amend my earlier statement(s) by saying that Nick and Jesse are SIMILAR, yet very different, and certainly not the same. So there.
Also, I think, that on the depth scale, Jesse actually is margianally more shallow than Nick.
And, I might have to re-shape my comments about Blaine, to include "He is also mean to my other friends sometimes, and seems to always get away with it. This annoys me immensly, and when I confront him about it, he always seems to turn it on me."
So that's post 74. Next post is gonna be really good, unless I get really pissed off at someone, and have to say something

People I'll never get- Part one (post 73)

Ok, so, I've been thinking, and I felt like I needed to say something about the people in my class. Not, you know, trying to antagonise them or anything, but generally saying what's on my mind.
So, for this (posts? weeks?) diatribe, I've chosen Blaine, and Jesse&Nick, or Jesse/Nick, If you prefer.
Before I begin, however, I'm going to say (incase any of them ever read this) I'm not trying to be mean, or try to look like a jack ass, or put you down or anything, it's just some things that have been buzzing around in my brain for months that I finally have an outlet for. So there.
Blaine
So, Blaine. He is an incredibly cool guy, most of the time, except when he is around a certain person, a person whose identity I'm still trying to deduce. I'm not hiding anything, but, when I talk to him without anyone else around, he is so funny, and clever, but when we're with other people, it's a constant barrage of... well, not insults, but, behavior that does not make me think he's my friend. All that said, he's a very, well, incredible person, willing to go the extra mile to make a person feel wanted. I was going through all of his blog posts (link above), and I just realised that, even though he is an immensly complicated soul, with deep thoughts and feelings, he still--wait. Where am I going with this. Crap.
Blaine is cool, but I'll never fully understand him. Yeah.
Jesse
Nick
These two get the same section because, even though they seem different on the surface, deep down their similarities are scary. However, I'd say (sorry Nick) that Jesse is far more deep than Nick. Damn. I just spent(or wasted, if you want to be mean, which is NOT what I'm trying for here) reading Jesse's old blogs. Whereas if I look at Nick's blog, all I see is one freaking huge (and embarrasing, I swear they were out to get me) MSN conversation, and about 25 photos and pictures of his dog (which is cute) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Wow. Look at all those brackets.
So, I really don't get either of these guys. I mean, sure, they appear sane, stable and sincere on the surface, but if you were to pro-- searc-- look a bit deeper, I'm sure you'd find some deep dark secret, or broken promise or something like that. So, i don't think I'll ever understand Jesse or Nick.

So those are 3 of the people that I currently don't understand. Just my opinions on them too, if anyone cares. I spent half a bloody hour on this thing, so I hope people read and apppreciate the sacrifices--
Oh crap, there I go again, rambling. :P Sue Me.

I could begin by saying I'm bored, but that's simply not true

I mean, sure, its 10 o clock and no one is on MSN (Josh just signed off), but I'm listening to some cool music (Queen), so I'm not complaining.
So, we've had an essay in class to write, and an exam WITH an essay in it, and that takes a lot out of you. It really does.
It's been a kinda hard week for me, with people being teased, and lots of homework, strenuous card games, home work, talk of the weekend (and our day off tomorrow), need I say home work again?
Oh, to hell with this. I guess this is one of my posts that isn't all that interesting. Oh well. Post #72, this be. Only 3 more 'till my extravaganza-dealie. Yay.

Post number 71

Aren't I good? I think so :P
So, to celebrate this meaningless milestone, I'll do nothing in perticular, but save it all for number 75. You can expect a gala event then.
But for now, I'll be conservative, and keep my opinionated mind to the task of thinking of something interesting to say for post 72,73 and 74. So there.

Hey! Weekend!

Yay!
So, as you maybe can see, I've changed the layout of my blog. I think it looks cool but maybe you don't, so, say something about it.
All that aside, a very boring week is now over. And I'm glad. I mean, not that we didn't do any work. I'm glad that we didn't do anything. Hehe.
So, we have a buttload of English and History HomeWork to do, but oh well. We'll live.
I'm still bored though, so, yeah.

A funny thing happened on the way to school today...

Not really. But I couldn't think of anything else to begin with.
So sue me, I'm not in a creative mood today. Maybe it's because... hmm... about half my friends are on some kinda crazy ass camp. Oh well. I'm not complaining, we've done NO work this week.
I really can't think of anything to say. How sad.
Damn.

Best. Day. EVER.

Well, not really. It could have been better, but it could have been much worse. I got up at around 10, to this news:
"ben, you know that josh rang at about 9, right?"
"no, i've been sleeping"
"oh. well, he did"
"ok, i'll call him in a minute"
So, I got out of bed, rang Josh, realised that it wasn't Josh who rang at 9 in the morning, went and yelled at my brother for not taking the message properly, then played GameCube.
That's pretty much all I did untill 3, when I realised "Oh shit, I have work in an hour, and dad can't drive me."
I started running.
I got there on time, though, so all is good.
We finished on time, for once, and I had a really good talk with one of the managers, Erin. He's a pretty cool guy, actually.
Very cool.
So, I had that talk with him, then got home, got on the internet, talked to Josh and Brooklyn, they signed off, I realised I had homework to do, I did my homework, and here we are.

Myself: Past, Present and Future

11/11/05

Dear great Ben of the future,

I never believed that I’d be writing to you, but here I am, so yeah. This is supposed to be about how I feel now, as a Year 9. Maybe I should begin by talking about my past. Or, maybe not. Right now, I feel as though I’m between two big scenes in my life, you might say. As in, waiting for something to happen to lift the mundane of regular life. We have just been burgled, and that made me feel angrier than I’ve ever been. A lot of my stuff got stolen. My MP3 player, my flute… It isn’t fair. Sam was thinking (and saying) “why us?” and I suppose that’s what I’d be thinking, but, really, it’s just a random setback along the road of life.

I’m listening to a song by Queen right now, and if someone had told me two years ago that I would be doing so, I would have laughed. It just goes to show how much people can change in a short amount of time. For instance, I’m much better friends with Josh and Brooklyn that, two years ago, I never would have dreamed possible. Then again, two years ago, I was young and naïve. Now, I’m just Naïve. So much has happened in recent times to change my perceptions of things, and I have no idea what’s going to happen next in my life. Something new, exciting and interesting could occur tomorrow, although tomorrow is a Saturday, I’d doubt it. Nothing ever happens on Saturday. You wake up, think, “Hey! Weekend!” then roll over and sleep ‘till Sunday.

So that’s Past and Present… covered, lets move onto future. In the future, I would not like to see monkeys rule the world, but if they do, please let them make me their leader. If time machines have been invented whenever I’m reading this, send back mucho money to the 25th of November 2005, at around 12 ‘o clock. That’s a day off, so I can enjoy it. Being serious now, I’d like to get my stuff that was stolen back, and I’d like to get a better computer. Those all seem rather frivolous, but hey, it’s easier than wishing for world peace, and I wouldn’t want to deprive the Miss America contestants of something to wish for. Yeah, that was on topic. I just hope that I can do something with my life. I hope that when I read this, I’ve done something with my life, OR that it’s not too late to change it. I also hope that made sense.

If this letter hasn’t made any sense, oh great and wise Ben of the future, then I direct your attention to the Family Guy movie. It may seem like a frivolous thing, but consider that the main character (a baby) goes into the future and sees how bad his life is. He gets angry with himself. He tries to change his life in the future for the better. And in a way, he succeeds. So, if you feel that you’ve made a mess of your/my life, oh great Ben of the future, then read this letter and do something about it. Good Luck.

Ben

Damn. That took up a lot of space. Oh well.
So, thats my homework. Hope the teacher likes it.
